As a clinician, I specialize in working with clients using a person-centered and strengths-based approach. This approach allows us to gain insight into the client's perspective and explore how their life experiences impact their current functioning. By identifying their strengths and abilities, we can work towards achieving a healthier and more balanced state of being.
I use Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) to help you understand how your thoughts impact your well-being. By combining CBT with mindfulness techniques, I can provide hope and relief, leading to a healthier and more balanced state. For clients who have experienced trauma, I also incorporate Trauma Focused CBT (TF-CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). These approaches help clients understand how trauma affects their daily lives and teach them healthy coping skills to minimize its negative effects.
After our first session, you'll feel hopeful and relieved. We'll use CBT and mindfulness techniques to help you cope with overwhelm. You'll gain insight into your thought patterns and understand how they affect your balance.
