A validator, empathizer, and place of warmth and non-judgement. I am down to earth, a dog mom to Merida and a diet coke enthusiast. :-)
My approach is person centered and trauma informed. I value honesty, humor and humility within the therapeutic relationship, as well as, creativity, connection and collaboration. For each client, I take an individualized, unique approach.
Identify your strengths, explore solutions, delve into your past and present to foster peace, and establish goals to propel you towards restoration and clarity. Together, we can equip you with the tools to embrace life more fully and authentically!
Struggle with anxiety, depression, grief, suicidal ideation and life transitions. I enjoy working with issues such as perfectionism and low self-esteem, grief and loss, and students of any age who struggle in school settings.
I know what it's like to struggle with mental health. I've been right in your shoes, and I know how hard it can be to find a therapist who gets it.
I offer counseling both in person and virtually. :)
