Past clients have described me as non-judgmental and easy to develop rapport with. I'm here to listen to you more than tell you what to do.
We will spend the first few sessions getting to know each other. I primarily utilize dialectical behavior therapy, which incorporates mindfulness and emotion regulation. We will discuss the skills in session before you practice them independently.
I will listen to whatever you want to discuss--a current struggle, past trauma, family relationships, or current or past events that are affecting you today.
Working in community mental health for ten years showed me the extraordinary ways people can and do recover. I want to continue helping others.
