I will help you understand how your family history, identity, and other factors have shaped your life. I use an approach that helps you build upon existing strengths to heal body, mind, and spirit. With my support you will untangle what trips you up.
Work collaboratively so that you can master techniques to put into place when your heart races, negative thoughts ruminate, and/or you feel numb, because anxiety, depression, and trauma affect your body. Chart a path toward more resilience and joy.
Are frantically just getting through each day, barely holding it together. Are filled with self-doubt, working too hard to please others. And those who are struggling with anxious and ruminating thoughts making it hard to sleep. I am ready to help.
I was fortunate enough to benefit from counselors believing in me when my journey included difficult and humbling moments. I am paying it forward.
Our office is centrally located. Right off 696 and I75, just up Woodward from the Detroit Zoo. Remote sessions are also possible.
At Intersectional Insight, we pay close attention to how your lived experience has been influenced by social identities (race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation) to help you understand how they have shaped you and how to best heal.
