I am a calm, sturdy presence. I am strengths-based and non-pathologizing. I care more about seeing what's right with you than finding what's wrong.
I work from a Neuro-Affective Relational Model (NARM), which means I focus a lot on the relationship we build in the therapy room. You can then use that healthy relationship as a model for healthy relationships with yourself, others, and the world.
Together, we will identify the relationship patterns that are no longer serving you. What do you want for yourself? What is getting in the way of that? What is your capacity for connection, attunement, trust, autonomy, and love?
I primarily work with women in their 30s and 40s who are feeling depressed, anxious, over-touched, and unattached. They're feeling stuck in the same relationship patterns that have perpetuated since childhood. They might not even notice the patterns!
I went through a lot of significant life transitions and felt lost. It was the jolt I needed to start understanding myself and living authentically.
My office is so soothing. Everyone who walks in comments on its calming energy.
I am pre-licensed, which means I have my degree but I am working under a supervisor until I accumulate all the necessary hours. I have lived a lot of life! I offer genuine empathy. I'm not afraid of rupture and repair in our relationship.
