I am warm and supportive, but I will also challenge you to examine and change the problematic areas in your life. I will help you be more effective.
I see psychotherapy as a dialogue between two people that can yield great personal growth and transformation. By examining areas of difficulty in your life I believe that my patents can gain insights into their own maladaptive behaviors.
Figure out what is the most effective way to help you overcome your difficulties and lead a more productive and meaningful life. Through our collaborative efforts you will gain new perspectives, increased confidence and greater self acceptance.
I work with a range of problems, including: depression, anxiety, grief, health-related problems, career problems, adjustment problems, difficulties with self esteem, relationship problems, substance abuse and life dissatisfaction.
I wanted to help people and I find talking to people meaningful, interesting and satisfying.
I offer therapy in-person and virtually. My office is near Penn Station and can easily be accessed by public transit. My office is comfortable.
I am pragmatic, flexible and thoughtful. I try to respond to my patients in a way that supports their unique needs. I meet people where they are at and work with individuals at their own pace. I am down-to-earth and open minded.
