I have a very informal and casual style. Therapy needs for feel comfortable and authentic for it to be effective.
We can do formal skills, but I take a more casual approach because research shows the relationship between us and what you already have to bring to the table is the most important. Mindset is key and we can discuss how yours is working for you.
build an understanding of old patterns and collaborate on sustainable changes to experiment with. We can explore the discomfort and mindsets that keep people stuck, as well as cultivate acceptance, self-compassion, and motivating self talk.
I tend to work best with people who prefer a more casual and grounded atmosphere where they can use their natural language and share ideas comfortably. Also, people who are naturally more prone to action or seeking insight tend to be a better fit.
I wanted to help others thrive in life rather than merely survive it. I enjoy helping people make stuffy therapy concepts fit into their style.
We're in a satellite office, so all paperwork is 100% online. No crowded waiting room.
I don't see couples, families, or do evaluations. I blend in-person and telehealth. Disenfortunadamente, no puedo ofrecer terapia en Español en este momento.
