Safe, accepting, present, non-judgmental, warm, genuinely caring, compassionate, empathetic, humorous, and kind.
I work from a person-centered lens, which means I view you as the expert on your own life. My goal is to help you connect more compassionately with yourself, sit with you in the hard stuff, and help you feel more empowered and less alone.
Bring awareness to unhelpful patterns and coping mechanisms in your life, identify sources of past/present emotional pain that are affecting you, and work toward healing them together. Expect a boost in - self-confidence, self-worth, and self-love.
Have experienced any type of trauma, especially childhood trauma. This could look like: parents working all the time and never being curious about you; physical, verbal, sexual, and emotional abuse; bullying; feeling socially isolated.
At my core, I want nothing more than to help others accept, embrace, and love themselves for exactly who they are. Nothing brings me more joy.
It's conveniently located in East Nashville near some great places to eat. After our session, you can treat yourself to some great food :)
While my specialty is in trauma, I also work with clients who experience issues caused by anxiety, depression, and difficulty defining their identity -- this could be sexual, gender, religious/spiritual, social, or career identities, to name a few.
