My clients describe me as kind, funny, easy to talk with, non-judgmental, and engaging. Many state they feel comfortable with me quickly.
My approach is rarely the same twice. I always use Evidence Based Practices, however, my approach is completely dependent on the individual working with me. As a clinical social worker, I work to always put the individual at the center of our work.
Together, we will identify the things you notice interfering with the life you want to live. The moments from the past that keep you from moving forward, the anxiety or fear that paralyze you now. Together we will create a plan for your best life.
I specialize in working with people. Full stop. I love people; engaging with new people & understanding a person and their story. I also love helping someone write the next parts of their story. We all have a story, I am excited to be a part of yours
I love understanding how someone's brain works. I have always been curious how people become how they are, and being a therapist helps me see that.
Right now, I offer therapy online. Not super unique; I hope it is me that is the stand out. Hopefully in a year, my office will be much more unique.
I'm a relational therapist more than anything. I believe in building a relationship with my clients in order to build trust & understanding. I'm 39, married, & have 2 awesome daughters. We have 2 dogs (a boxer Luna & a GSD Athena). I'm an open book.
