My goal is to help you throw a short-term solution focused approach to assist you in helping your self, completing your initial goals, empowering you.
My approach is not to put you on the coach for years. Rather, my goal is to "get you back into the game, as soon as possible." By empowering you to deal with future issues, I am able to work myself out of a job. You will work with me once per month.
Together, we will provide you with evidence-based options to treat your diagnosis; assign these as homework to chip away at your diagnosis; monitoring these goals through objective progress measuring. ACORN: patient 137% improved from starting point.
I have seen patients as young as three years old (which is usually parent training) through patients as old as 87-years old from all cultures and/or ethnic groups. I have a positive regard for all my patients whether focused or psychotic; accept all.
My original objective was to help people help themselves, once I recovered from addictions (1981), my life mostly improved. Common experiences unites.
Telehealth is best, because you do not have to travel to an office and can schedule at the convenience to align with your personal life. I am for you.
Most people work Monday through Friday 9-5. A therapy, who only sees patients at those times, is missing the rest of the world. By providing flexible hours and telehealth opportunities for people anywhere in Washington State, you will have the time.
