My approach is humanistic, strengths based and highly individualized to the unique needs and strengths of my clients. I value neurodiversity.
Finding accessible spaces is tough for many, but when you have a built-in difference that is invisible to others, it can seem an insurmountable obstacle. My goal is to be a psychologist who “gets it” and helps my clients feel peace being themselves.
My hope is that at Sundance Psychological LLC, I help you find an affirming professional to partner with as you learn about yourself and understand your unique ways to shine as you find tools, hope, and connection.
I understand communication differences, sensory needs, and no matter if a client uses AAC, typing, or pictures to communicate, I believe in partnership and I presume competence. Communication is much more than the spoken word and dignity is of key.
I became a psychologist to support the neurodiversity community build tools, embrace their shine, and live accessible, connected, fulfilling lives.
My office is in a very peaceful space in our community on a quiet low-traffic, tree lined street to reduce sensory overload.
I understand the reality of long-wait lists and hard to access resources in a timely manner. In my personal life, it is important to note that we are an Autism family; valuing neurodiversity is deeply important to me personally and professionally.
